°Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Serves at NYC 2019
Quinn North, Academic Advisor, and Rev. Will Mackey, Director of Enrollment Management, felt it a privilege to go to NYC 2019 in Phoenix last week representing °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï. For them it was a deeply inspirational time with their Church family, and they returned filled with encouragement!
A huge shout out to our current students who stopped by the booth to meet face-to-face and pick up a “thank you” gift from °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï. Also, it was wonderful to meet so many former students and to greet dozens of new faces who are contemplating ministerial training.
On Wednesday evening, °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï hosted an event alongside Nazarene Theological Seminary and Glendale Church of the Nazarene, celebrating all the students who attended NYC whose parents currently serve as Missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene. Quinn, a missionary kid himself, had the privilege of sharing with them the mission of °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï, letting them know how much °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï cares about them, and leading an ice-breaker game to help the students get to know each other. A big thank you to Emily Armstrong, Co-Coordinator of Global Mission & Genesis for Mesoamerica Region, for allowing °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï to be a small part of making the week special for those students.
The °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï booth presented an R&R (Rest and Recharge) space, complete with comfortable chairs and phone charging station. Many of the participants took advantage of this space, and °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï appreciated the opportunity to serve them in that way.
