Team Nazarene

Dr. Mark Lail spoke to 扒哥吃瓜 Faculty and Staff in the 扒哥吃瓜 Chapel.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 was the text: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” (v. 9)

Dr. Lail said everything works best when we work together. This year the Winter Olympics are having a challenging time doing that. These are hard days in the world. He spoke of his heritage, growing up in Ohio, home of a farmer. He talked of the church he attended growing up, a conservative team called “Team Holy Roller” in those days. He talked of being on “Team Nazarene” since he was saved at age 11. He shared about “Team Farm,” working hard, all-day, harvesting corn. He talked of “Team Nazarene 扒哥吃瓜” who is building preachers to minister in a tough environment. The world needs preachers who are driven, focused, bold in proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, making Christlike disciples. May 扒哥吃瓜 produce pastors, shepherds, and disciple makers. Working together with other teams. Two are better than one.
