Course Description
Lifelong Learning Skills is a course designed to increase one’s success as a college student and as a lifelong learner. This course addresses the student’s need to develop holistically (spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially). Attitudes and skills that contribute to academic success, specifically understanding °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï as an academic, religious, and social culture, will have special focus.
Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, you should be able to
- Develop strategies for lifelong learning in the areas of accepting personal responsibility, self-management, self- awareness, and goal setting.
- Gain insight on preferred learning styles and identifying personal strengths.
- Prepare an effective time management plan that includes personal as well as professional activities.
- Reflect on ways to create a workable plan for managing personal finance and budgeting.
- Develop effective strategies for stress management, including healthy eating and maintaining physical fitness.
- Identify critical thinking skills necessary for analyzing the validity of arguments, logical reasoning, and problem solving
